After our spectacular Workshop for Science Week 2017, City of Sydney has awarded Dr Egg Digital and Adventure Lab a Matching Grants Program grant to work with OOSH after school and holiday program for middle school, alongside the Public Engagement program at the Garvan Institute for Medical Research.

This will be "A program to engage children attending after school care in Life Sciences and Biotechnology by providing an immersive game play environment based at the Garvan Institute in Darlinghurst."

A team of 8-12 year old apprentice scientists will pull on their lab coats, preparing for game testing and puzzle design. These apprentices will be working on games featuring the storyworld protagonists from the Dr Egg Science Adventure series to explore biological sciences, chemical sciences, and science inquiry. Game testing and puzzle planning is the part of the Beta testing for our Dr Egg Game. Ebooks are readying for publication, to be downloadable by September, and a full hardcopy chapter book publication is scheduled for release in time for October 2018.
